wic look for external layer source plugin under scripts/lib/ while other tools look for lib/. allow wic to check for source plugin at both scripts/lib/ and lib/ to align with other tools while avoid breaking any existing source plugin in external layer. 2019-05-09meta/lib+scripts: Convert to SPDX license headersRichard Purdie
This adds SPDX license headers in place of the wide assortment of things currently in our script headers. We default to GPL-2.0-only except for the oeqa code where it was clearly submitted and marked as MIT on the most part or some scripts which had the "or later" GPL versioning. The patch also drops other obsolete bits of file headers where they were encoountered such as editor modelines, obsolete maintainer information or the phrase "All rights reserved" which is now obsolete and not required in copyright headers (in this case its actually confusing for licensing as all rights were not reserved). More work is needed for OE-Core but this takes care of the bulk of the scripts and meta/lib directories. The top level LICENSE files are tweaked to match the new structure and the SPDX naming. 2018-03-04wic: Add post operation hook for SourcePluginParthiban Nallathambi
do_post_partition hook is needed if some operations like security signing the parition needs to be done. source plugins can make use of this to implement post operatiosn in do_post_partition. do_post_partition is called after do_prepare_partition if present. Wic plugin machinery implemented using metaclasses. Reimplemented plugin machinery using this advice from https://wiki.python.org/moin/PortingToPy3k/BilingualQuickRef Syntax for creating instances with different metaclasses is very different between Python 2 and 3. Use the ability to call type instances as a way to portably create such instances. Now it should work under both Python 2 and Python 3. 2014-11-12scripts: use '/usr/bin/env' in shebangs with pythonMartin Hundebøll
To support yocto on systems with python3 as default version, scripts should use /usr/bin/env python in the shebang, as this allows the use of a fake env to mimic python2 as default version.
