2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2022-06-27ARM: dts: at91: align gpio-key node names with dtschemaKrzysztof Kozlowski
The node names should be generic and DT schema expects certain pattern (e.g. with key/button/switch). 2019-01-08ARM: dts: at91: replace gpio-key,wakeup with wakeup-source propertySudeep Holla
Most of the legacy "gpio-key,wakeup" property are already replaced with "wakeup-source". However few occurrences of old property has popped up again, probably from the remnants in downstream trees. Almost all of those were remove couple of years back. Replace the legacy properties with the unified "wakeup-source" property introduced in the commit 700a38b27eef ("Input: gpio_keys - switch to using generic device properties") Cc: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@bootlin.com> Cc: Peter Rosin <peda@axentia.se> Cc: Nicolas Ferre <nicolas.ferre@microchip.com> Signed-off-by: Sudeep Holla <sudeep.holla@arm.com> Acked-by: Peter Rosin <peda@axentia.se> Signed-off-by: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@bootlin.com>
2018-11-21ARM: dts: at91: nattis: initialize the BLON pin as output-low earlyPeter Rosin
The pwm-backlight driver initializes BLON (the enable gpio) to output-high if the gpio is input on probe. Initializing the gpio to output-low before the driver probes prevents this action by the pwm-backlight driver and gets rid of a nasty blink of full backlight with an uninitialized panel. 2018-08-28ARM: dts: at91: nattis: make the SD-card slot workPeter Rosin
The cd-gpios signal is assumed active-low by the driver, and the cd-inverted property is needed if it is, in fact, active-high. Fix this oversight. 2018-02-13ARM: dts: at91: nattis: use up-to-date mtd partitionsPeter Rosin
The nattis currently relies on the cmdline to correctly configure the MTD partition table, and the one given in the device tree is simply ignored. Which is fortunate, since the device tree partition table is bonkers and does not match reality. So, in order to avoid confusion, fix the device tree partition table to match what is expected (i.e. what is normally provided on the cmdline). In particular, the rootfs partition should be mtd6.
