2023-03-31dt-bindings: pinctrl: Drop unneeded quotesRob Herring
Cleanup bindings dropping unneeded quotes. Once all these are fixed, checking for this can be enabled in yamllint. 2022-08-25dt-bindings: Remove 'Device Tree Bindings' from end of title:Andrew Lunn
As indicated in link: https://lore.kernel.org/all/20220822204945.GA808626-robh@kernel.org/ DT schema files should not have 'Device Tree Binding' as part of there title: line. Remove this in most .yaml files, so hopefully preventing developers copying it into new .yaml files, and being asked to remove it. 2022-07-18dt-bindings: pinctrl: Add compatible for Allwinner D1Samuel Holland
D1 contains a pin controller similar to previous SoCs, but with some register layout changes. It includes 6 interrupt-capable pin banks. 2022-07-11dt-bindings: pinctrl: sunxi: allow vcc-pi-supplyAndre Przywara
The Allwinner H616 SoC contains a VCC_PI pin, which supplies the voltage for GPIO port I. Extend the range of supply port names to include vcc-pi-supply to cover that. 2022-07-11dt-bindings: pinctrl: sunxi: Make interrupts optionalAndre Przywara
The R_PIO pinctrl device on the Allwinner H616 SoC does not have an interrupt (it features only two pins). However the binding requires at least naming one upstream interrupt, plus the #interrupt-cells and interrupt-controller properties. Drop the unconditional requirement for the interrupt properties, and make them dependent on being not this particular pinctrl device. 2022-06-15dt-bindings: pinctrl: sunxi: Disallow the resets propertySamuel Holland
None of the sunxi pin controllers have a module reset line. This is confirmed by documentation (A80) as well as experimentation (A33). Since the property is not applicable to any variant of the hardware, let's remove it from the binding. 2021-01-21dt-bindings: pinctrl: Add Allwinner H616 compatible stringsAndre Przywara

2020-05-03dt-bindings: Remove cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring
json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works. This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax. Scripted with ruamel.yaml with some manual fixups. Some minor whitespace changes from the script. 2019-11-04pinctrl: Convert Allwinner Pin Controller to a schemaMaxime Ripard
The Allwinner SoCs have a pin controller supported in Linux, with a matching Device Tree binding. Now that we have the DT validation in place, let's convert the device tree bindings for that controller over to a YAML schemas.
