2019-05-09meta/lib+scripts: Convert to SPDX license headersRichard Purdie
This adds SPDX license headers in place of the wide assortment of things currently in our script headers. We default to GPL-2.0-only except for the oeqa code where it was clearly submitted and marked as MIT on the most part or some scripts which had the "or later" GPL versioning. The patch also drops other obsolete bits of file headers where they were encoountered such as editor modelines, obsolete maintainer information or the phrase "All rights reserved" which is now obsolete and not required in copyright headers (in this case its actually confusing for licensing as all rights were not reserved). More work is needed for OE-Core but this takes care of the bulk of the scripts and meta/lib directories. The top level LICENSE files are tweaked to match the new structure and the SPDX naming. 2015-11-25bitbake-prserv-tool: check file nameRobert Yang
Fixed: $ bitbake-prserv-tool import /tmp/1 File "/path/to/lib/bb/parse/__init__.py", line 114, in handle(fn='/tmp/1', data=<bb.data_smart.DataSmart object at 0x2369bd0>, include=True): return h['handle'](fn, data, include) > raise ParseError("not a BitBake file", fn) ParseError: ParseError in /tmp/1: not a BitBake file But 1.conf or 1.inc works well, check the filename and print proper error message. 2014-02-17bitbake-prserv-tool: make help text show .conf suffixKoen Kooi
'export' will accept any output filename, but 'import' needs a '.conf' suffix to work. Otherwise you'll get: koen@beast:/build/v2013.12$ bitbake-prserv-tool import x.txt ERROR: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/build/v2013.12/sources/bitbake/lib/bb/cookerdata.py", line 162, in wrapped return func(fn, *args) File "/build/v2013.12/sources/bitbake/lib/bb/cookerdata.py", line 172, in parse_config_file return bb.parse.handle(fn, data, include) File "/build/v2013.12/sources/bitbake/lib/bb/parse/__init__.py", line 100, in handle raise ParseError("not a BitBake file", fn) ParseError: ParseError in x.txt: not a BitBake file ERROR: Unable to parse x.txt: ParseError in x.txt: not a BitBake file Importing from file x.txt failed! 2013-01-22prserv: add LOCALCOUNT to AUTOINCs migration feature1.4_M3.rc1Constantin Musca
- use migrate_localcount.bbclass to generate AUTOINC entries which are exported to LOCALCOUNT_DUMPFILE - import the generated AUTOINC entries - one can migrate LOCALCOUNT to AUTOINC by executing: bitbake-prserv-tool migrate_localcount [YOCTO #3071] (From OE-Core rev: ffab86f13cafb10d8d6273b6af8cd9a3c84eae20) Signed-off-by: Constantin Musca <constantinx.musca@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2012-02-28scripts/prserv-tool: Adepted to new bitbake cache.Lianhao Lu
Adepted to the new bitbake cache mechanism which is based on file content but not on file timp stamps any more. (From OE-Core rev: c1705317f9456f761da2094e886a07939291e53a) Signed-off-by: Lianhao Lu <lianhao.lu@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Richard Purdie <richard.purdie@linuxfoundation.org>
2012-01-11meta/PRService: Added export/import fuctions.Lianhao Lu
[YOCTO #1556] - Modified meta/class/package.bbclass and prserv.bbclass according to the change in PR service by adding PACKAGE_ARCH into the query tuple. - Added prexport.bbclass, primport.bbclass to export/import AUTOPR values from/to PRService. - Move PR service related common code to lib/oe/prservice.py. - Supported reading the AUTOPR values from the exported .inc file instead of reading it from remote PR service. - Created a new script bitbake-prserv-tool to export/import the AUTOPR values from/to the PR service. Typical usage scenario of the export/import is: 1. bitbake-prserv-tool export <file> to export the AUTOPR values from the current PR service into an exported .inc file. 2. Others may use that exported .inc file(to be included in the local.conf) to lockdown and reproduce the same AUTOPR when generating package feeds. 3. Others may "bitbake-prserv-tool import <file>" to import the AUTOPR values into their own PR service and the AUTOPR values will be incremented from there.
