2018-03-04gstreamer-rtsp-server: remove unnecessary dependenciesAnuj Mittal
libcheck dep was removed from gst-rtsp-server some time back [1]. Disable building of examples and tests and remove dep on libcgroup which was needed, if present, to build only one specific example. 2018-03-04cmake: refactor compile and install for easier re-useAndré Draszik
cmake_do_compile() and cmake_do_install() basically do the same, except they use a different --target, and at the moment this is copy/pasted code with a minor modification. Other recipes which e.g. might want to support compilation as part of ptest have to do the same. This is a bit inconvenient. By factoring out all of this into a common helper, cmake_runcmake_build(), this is easily re-used. An (imaginary) recipe can compile ptest support simply by using cmake_runcmake_build --target buildtest-TESTS (assuming such a build target exists). Also, this now is very similar to oe_runmake(). 2018-03-03brief-yoctoprojectqs, Makefile: New "First Build" article.Scott Rifenbark
I have created an brief article in the form of current YP docs that is a pared down version of the Quick Start (pre 2.5 release). The article fills a gap for a short (2-page), process-oriented article that steps the user through an initial build using YP. I had to make changes to the Makefile to support building the new article. 2018-03-03dev-manual, concepts-manual: Moved x32 sectionScott Rifenbark
I had split up the section on x32 into a concept piece and a "how-to" piece earlier in order to satisfy outside pressure to isolate all "how-to" stuff in the dev-manual. Doing this put a "conceptual" blurb about x32 in the new concepts-manual. It has been decided that x32 is not a concept. It really does not fit into the ref-manual either. So, I have re-combined the intro blurb of the x32 stuff back as the beginning piece of the "Usingt x32 psABI" section in the dev-manual.
