2020-03-07Input: st1232 - do not reset the chip too earlyDmitry Torokhov
commit efd7bb08a762d4f6322054c6824bd942971ac563 upstream. We should not be putting the chip into reset while interrupts are enabled and ISR may be running. Fix this by installing a custom devm action and powering off the device/resetting GPIO line from there. This ensures proper ordering. Calling device_init_wakeup in the remove function is unnecessary since the device is going away, and thus won't be able to cause any wakeups under any circumstances. Besides, the driver cleanup code already handles the necessary cleanup. Similarly, disabling wakeup in the probe error path is unnecessary, as is disabling wakeup in the probe function in the first place. Rework dev_pm_qos_add_ancestor_request() so that device PM QoS type is passed to it as the third argument and make it support the DEV_PM_QOS_LATENCY_TOLERANCE device PM QoS type (in addition to DEV_PM_QOS_RESUME_LATENCY). Make the st1232 driver use dev_pm_qos_add_ancestor_request() to add a device PM QoS latency constraint for the controller it depends on, so that the controller won't go into an overly deep low-power state when the touchscreen has to be particularly responsive (e.g. when the user moves his or her finger on it).
