Add regulator_has_full_constraints() call to poodle board file to let regulator core know that we do not have any additional regulators left. This lets it substitute unprovided regulators with dummy ones. 2013-07-23ARM: pxa: propagate errors from regulator_enable() to pxamciArnd Bergmann
The em_x270_mci_setpower() and em_x270_usb_hub_init() functions call regulator_enable(), which may return an error that must be checked. This changes the em_x270_usb_hub_init() function to bail out if it fails, and changes the pxamci_platform_data->setpower callback so that the a failed em_x270_mci_setpower call can be propagated by the pxamci driver into the mmc core. Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. 2011-11-21ARM: restart: remove poodle restart handlerRussell King
The poodle restart handler was added in 74617fb6b8 (3593/1: Add reboot and shutdown handlers for Zaurus handhelds), and at that time it was necessary to deal with the RCSR register. This commit also forced all restarts to use the 'hard' restart method. In dc38e2ad53 (pxa: Fix RCSR handling), the RCSR handling was removed, leaving just the forcing to use a 'hard' restart. As hard restarts are the default (in the absense of a reboot= command line argument), this seems pointless. In any case, Richard Purdie says: > From what I remember that hardware either always reboots or always > halts. I think the option was therefore left hardcoded to make it clear > it wasn't expected to work. Later Zaurii models could do either but > required some manual poking of registers to make it happen iirc. > > Regardless, you can probably clean this up as you suggest now. The PXA-SPI driver relies on some files / defines which are arm specific and are within the ARM tree. The CE4100 SoC which is x86 has also the SPI core. This patch moves the ssp and spi files from arm/mach-pxa and plat-pxa to include/linux where the CE4100 can access them. 2010-05-11[ARM] pxa: make it clear by converting MMC 'delay_detect' to millisecondEric Miao
delay_detect in HZ is confusing, convert it to be millisecond based. And thus remove those unnecessary call to msecs_to_jiffies() at runtime for this field. Other constants are converted assuming HZ == 100, which are basically true for those platforms. The assignment in csb726.c was incorrect, and is fixed in this patch as a result. 2009-12-01[ARM] pxa: allow platforms to control which uarts are registeredRussell King
For some platforms, it is inappropriate to register all PXA UARTs. In some cases, the UARTs may not be used, and in others we may want to avoid registering the UARTs to allow other drivers (eg, FICP) to make use of the UART. In addition, a while back there was a request to be able to pass platform data to the UART driver. This patch enables all of this by providing functions platforms can call to register each individual UART. 2009-03-19[ARM] pass reboot command line to arch_reset()Russell King
OMAP wishes to pass state to the boot loader upon reboot in order to instruct it whether to wait for USB-based reflashing or not. There is already a facility to do this via the reboot() syscall, except we ignore the string passed to machine_restart(). This patch fixes things to pass this string to arch_reset(). This means that we keep the reboot mode limited to telling the kernel _how_ to perform the reboot which should be independent of what we request the boot loader to do.
