2019-10-23ARM: dts: exynos: Rename children of SysRAM node to "sram"Krzysztof Kozlowski
The device node name should reflect generic class of a device so rename the children of SysRAM node to "smp-sram". This will be also in sync with upcoming DT schema. No functional change. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2019-10-06ARM: dts: exynos: Rename SysRAM node to "sram"Krzysztof Kozlowski
The device node name should reflect generic class of a device so rename the SysRAM node from "sysram" to "sram". The child nodes stay as before as "smp-sysram" to match their real purpose. This will be also in sync with upcoming DT schema. No functional change. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>

2019-09-02ARM: dts: exynos: Remove not accurate secondary ADC compatibleKrzysztof Kozlowski
The Exynos3250 ADC has its own compatible because of differences from other Exynos SoCs. Therefore it is not entirely compatible with samsung,exynos-adc-v2. Remove the samsung,exynos-adc-v2. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2019-07-01ARM: dts: exynos: Move Mali400 GPU node to "/soc"Marek Szyprowski
Mali400 GPU hardware module is a standard hardware module integrated to Exynos3210/4210/4412 SoCs, so it should reside under the "/soc" node. The only SoC components which are placed in the DT root, are those, which are a part of CPUs: like ARM architected timers and ARM performance measurement units. 2019-06-24ARM: dts: exynos: Add GPU/Mali 400 node to Exynos3250Krzysztof Kozlowski
Add nodes for GPU (Mali 400) to Exynos3250. This is still limited and not tested: 1. No dynamic voltage and frequency scaling, 2. Not sure what to do with CLK_G3D clock responsible for gating entire IP block (it is now being disabled as unused). Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2019-04-24ARM: dts: exynos: Move fixed-clocks out of soc on Exynos3250Krzysztof Kozlowski
The three fixed-clocks (xusbxti, xxti and xtcxo) are inputs to the Exynos3250 therefore they should not be inside the soc node. This also fixes DTC W=1 warning: arch/arm/boot/dts/exynos3250.dtsi:112.21-139.5: Warning (simple_bus_reg): /soc/fixed-rate-clocks: missing or empty reg/ranges property Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2019-04-24ARM: dts: exynos: Remove unneeded address/size cells from fixed-clock on ↵Krzysztof Kozlowski
Exynos3250 xusbxti fixed-clock should not have address/size cells because it does not have any children. This also fixes DTC W=1 warning: arch/arm/boot/dts/exynos3250.dtsi:112.21-139.5: Warning (simple_bus_reg): /soc/fixed-rate-clocks: missing or empty reg/ranges property Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2019-04-24ARM: dts: exynos: Move pmu and timer nodes out of socKrzysztof Kozlowski
The ARM PMU and ARM architected timer nodes are part of ARM CPU design therefore they should not be inside the soc node. This also fixes DTC W=1 warnings like: arch/arm/boot/dts/exynos3250.dtsi:106.21-135.5: Warning (simple_bus_reg): /soc/fixed-rate-clocks: missing or empty reg/ranges property arch/arm/boot/dts/exynos3250.dtsi:676.7-680.5: Warning (simple_bus_reg): /soc/pmu: missing or empty reg/ranges property Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Tested-by: Marek Szyprowski <m.szyprowski@samsung.com>
2019-02-18ARM: dts: exynos: Add minimal clkout parameters to Exynos3250 PMUMarek Szyprowski

2018-06-25arm: dts: exynos: Add missing cooling device properties for CPUsViresh Kumar
The cooling device properties, like "#cooling-cells" and "dynamic-power-coefficient", should either be present for all the CPUs of a cluster or none. If these are present only for a subset of CPUs of a cluster then things will start falling apart as soon as the CPUs are brought online in a different order. For example, this will happen because the operating system looks for such properties in the CPU node it is trying to bring up, so that it can register a cooling device. Add such missing properties. Fix other missing properties (clocks, OPP, clock latency) as well to make it all work. Signed-off-by: Viresh Kumar <viresh.kumar@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>
2018-04-21ARM: dts: exynos: Move syscon poweroff and restart nodes under the PMUKrzysztof Kozlowski
The PMU node is the actual block responsible for power management, including typical Exynos on/off/restart procedures. Therefore the syscon poweroff and restart nodes logically belong to it. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org> Tested-by: Marek Szyprowski <m.szyprowski@samsung.com>
2018-02-22ARM: dts: exynos: Cleanup power domain nodes in exynos3250.dtsiMarek Szyprowski
Device nodes in device tree should use generic names, so rename all existing power domains to "power-domain". To keep readable domain names in debug logs, use label property, which has been introduce by commit b13b2330aab5 ("soc: samsung: pm_domains: Read domain name from the new label property"); Signed-off-by: Marek Szyprowski <m.szyprowski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzk@kernel.org>

2017-02-07ARM: DTS: Fix register map for virt-capable GICMarc Zyngier
Since everybody copied my own mistake from the DT binding example, let's address all the offenders in one swift go. Most of them got the CPU interface size wrong (4kB, while it should be 8kB), except for both keystone platforms which got the control interface wrong (4kB instead of 8kB). In a few cases where I knew for sure what implementation was used, I've added the "arm,gic-400" compatible string. I'm 99% sure that this is what everyone is using, but short of having the TRM for all the other SoCs, I've left them alone. These also applies to ARM and it will also allow to get rid of the following DTC warnings in the future: "Node /memory has a reg or ranges property, but no unit name" The disassembled DTB are almost the same besides an empty chosen node being removed and nodes reordered, so it should not have functional changes. 2015-03-18ARM: exynos4/5: convert pmu wakeup to stacked domainsMarc Zyngier
Exynos has been (ab)using the gic_arch_extn to provide wakeup from suspend, and it makes a lot of sense to convert this code to use stacked domains instead. This patch does just this, updating the DT files to actually reflect what the HW provides. BIG FAT WARNING: because the DTs were so far lying by not exposing the fact that the PMU block is actually the first interrupt controller in the chain for RTC, kernels with this patch applied wont have any suspend-resume facility when booted with old DTs, and old kernels with updated DTs may not even boot. Also, I strongly suspect that there is more than two wake-up interrupts on these platforms, but I leave it to the maintainers to fix their mess. 2015-03-18ARM: dts: Add assigned clock parents to CMU node for exynos3250Beata Michalska
Use assigned-clocks/assigned-clock-parents properties for CMU clock controller DT node to secure proper clock setup: switching the two muxes to root oscillator clock is not only required for proper powering down the ISP power domain, but it also reduces the risk of accessing the ISP CMU registers while the ISP power domain remains turned off (i.e. through the common clock framework by clk_summary) Signed-off-by: Beata Michalska <b.michalska@samsung.com> Acked-by: Kyungmin Park <kyungmin.park@samsung.com> Acked-by: Sylwester Nawrocki <s.nawrocki@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Kukjin Kim <kgene@kernel.org>
