2021-12-08ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2_xplained: remove PA11__SDMMC0_VDDSEL from pinctrlMihai Sain
I/O voltage for eMMC is always 3.3V because PA11__SDMMC0_VDDSEL is tied with 10K resistor to GND. U13 switch S1 is always selected as voltage rail of 3.3V for VCCQ power pin from MPU controller and eMMC flash. Removing PA11 from pinctrl because it remains unused. 2020-06-17ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2_xplained: classd: pull-down the R1 and R3 linesCodrin Ciubotariu
The R1 and R3 lines drive NMOS transistors that are OFF with a low level. On the SAMA5D2 Xplained board, if the pins corresponding to R1 and R3 have pull-ups enabled, there is an extra 2 x 30uA power consumption. 2020-05-15ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2_xplained: Describe the flx0 I2C functionTudor Ambarus
Users can choose which flexcom function to use. Describe the I2C Flexcom0 function. Add alias for the i2c2 node in order to not rely on probe order for the i2c device numbering. The sama5d2 SoC has two dedicated i2c buses and five flexcoms that can function as i2c. The i2c0 and i2c1 aliases are kept for the dedicated i2c buses, the i2c flexcom functions can be numbered in order starting from i2c2. There is a single functional change in this patch. With the move of the flx0 uart5 definition in the SoC dtsi, the uart5 from at91-sama5d27_wlsom1_ek.dts inherits the following optional property: atmel,fifo-size = <32>; This particular change was tested by Codrin. Label the flexcom functions in order: flx0: uart5, spi2, i2c2 flx1: uart6, spi3, i2c3 flx2: uart7, spi4, i2c4 flx3: uart8, spi5, i2c5 flx4: uart9, spi6, i2c6 Some boards respected this scheme, others not. 2017-05-15ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2: add m_can nodesWenyou Yang
Add nodes to support the Controller Area Network(M_CAN) on SAMA5D2. The version of M_CAN IP core is 3.1.0 (CREL = 0x31040730). As said in SAMA5D2 datasheet, the CAN clock is recommended to use frequencies of 20, 40 or 80 MHz. To achieve these frequencies, PMC GCLK3 must select the UPLLCK(480 MHz) as source clock and divide by 24, 12, or 6. So, the "assigned-clock-rates" property has three options: 20000000, 40000000, and 80000000. The "assigned-clock-parents" property should be referred to utmi fixedly. The MSBs [bits 31:16] of the CAN Message RAM for CAN0 and CAN1 are default configured in 0x00200000. To avoid conflict with SRAM map for PM, change them to 0x00210000 in the AT91Bootstrap via setting the CAN Memories Address-based Register(SFR_CAN) of SFR. 2016-03-02ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2 Xplained: set pin muxing for usb gadget and usb hostCyrille Pitchen
For USB gadget on port A (device mode): - pin PA31 is configured as an input GPIO which triggers an interrupt when vbus is detected on USB port A. - pin PB9 is configured as an output GPIO and set to low level so the board doesn't supply vbus to USB port A. For USB host: - pin PB10 is configured as an output GPIO and is active at high level. The ohci driver will activate this pin so the board supplies vbus to USB port B. - pin PB9 should be configured as an output GPIO and active at high level to use to USB port A in host mode (conflicts with USB gadget). 2016-03-01ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2 Xplained: Correct the macb irq pinctrl nodeRomain Izard
All pinctrl nodes for the Atmel pinctrl controller need to have their bias configuration explicitly defined. Otherwise, the pinctrl mapping is not valid. It works for now as the pinctrl driver proceeds even with invalid mappings, but this can become an issue, if the pinctrl driver starts to require valid mappings. Additionally, the pin is not protected from being remapped later by an other driver. There is an external 1kOhms pull-up to 3.3V, so no bias is required on the Ethernet PHY's interrupt line. 2016-01-27ARM: dts: at91: sama5d2 xplained: add phy address and IRQ for macb0Nicolas Ferre
After 57a38effa598 (net: phy: micrel: disable broadcast for KSZ8081/KSZ8091) the macb0 interface has difficulties to come back from power saving mode if address not explicitly set up. As the micrel phy on the board is actually configured to show up at address 1 we use this explicitly. Adding the phy node and its real address fixes the issue. The phy IRQ and associated pinmux node is also added.
