2020-02-05ARM: dts: am57xx-beagle-x15/am57xx-idk: Remove "gpios" for endpoint dt nodesKishon Vijay Abraham I
[ Upstream commit 81cc0877840f72210e809bbedd6346d686560fc1 ] PERST# line in the PCIE connector is driven by the host mode and not EP mode. The gpios property here is used for driving the PERST# line. Remove gpios property from all endpoint device tree nodes. 2020-01-23ARM: dts: am571x-idk: Fix gpios property to have the correct gpio numberKishon Vijay Abraham I
commit 0c4eb2a6b3c6b0facd0a3bccda5db22e7b3b6f96 upstream. commit d23f3839fe97d8dce03d ("ARM: dts: DRA7: Add pcie1 dt node for EP mode") while adding the dt node for EP mode for DRA7 platform, added rc node for am571x-idk and populated gpios property with "gpio3 23". However the GPIO_PCIE_SWRST line is actually connected to "gpio5 18". Fix it here. (The patch adding "gpio3 23" was tested with another am57x board in EP mode which doesn't rely on reset from host). 2019-06-27ARM: dts: am57xx: Disable voltage switching for SD cardFaiz Abbas
If UHS speed modes are enabled, a compatible SD card switches down to 1.8V during enumeration. If after this a software reboot/crash takes place and on-chip ROM tries to enumerate the SD card, the difference in IO voltages (host @ 3.3V and card @ 1.8V) may end up damaging the card. The fix for this is to have support for power cycling the card in hardware (with a PORz/soft-reset line causing a power cycle of the card). Because the beaglebone X15 (rev A,B and C), am57xx-idks and am57xx-evms don't have this capability, disable voltage switching for these boards. The major effect of this is that the maximum supported speed mode is now high speed(50 MHz) down from SDR104(200 MHz). commit 88a748419b84 ("ARM: dts: am57xx-idk: Remove support for voltage switching for SD card") did this only for idk boards. Do it for all affected boards. Signed-off-by: Faiz Abbas <faiz_abbas@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

2019-04-12ARM: dts: dra7: Separate AM57 dtsi filesRoger Quadros
AM5 and DRA7 SoC families have different set of modules in them so the SoC sepecific dtsi files need to be separated. e.g. Some of the major differences between AM576 and DRA76 DRA76x AM576x USB3 x USB4 x ATL x VCP x MLB x ISS x PRU-ICSS1 x PRU-ICSS2 x This patch only deals with disabling USB3, USB4 and ATL for AM57 variants. 2018-09-24ARM: dts: am57xx-idk-common: Hook smps12 regulator as cpu vdd-supplyKeerthy
am574x-idk has no cpu vdd-supply at the moment. Hence hook smps12 regulator as cpu vdd-supply in am57xx-idk-common as the same regulator feeds on to cpu on am571/2/4-idks. So remove all the individual instances and place that in common place. Signed-off-by: Keerthy <j-keerthy@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>

2018-05-03ARM: dts: am57xx-beagle-x15/am57xx-idk: Fix pinctrl-namesKishon Vijay Abraham I
The IO lines of MMC2 in am57xx-beagle-x15/am57xx-idk is connected to 3.3v. Use "ddr_3_3v" instead of "ddr_1_8v" to indicate DDR mode works in 3.3v on these boards. Signed-off-by: Kishon Vijay Abraham I <kishon@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Tony Lindgren <tony@atomide.com>
2018-05-03ARM: dts: am57xx-idk: Use pinctrl group from dra7-mmc-iodelay.dtsi to select ↵Kishon Vijay Abraham I
pulldown commit 18aa0f4bca701cb078a6 ("ARM: dts: am57xx-idk: Select pull down for mmc1_clk line in default mode") modified mmc1_pins_default pinctrl group in am57xx-idk-common.dtsi in order to change the CLK line to PIN_INPUT_PULLDOWN. However instead of modifying the pinctrl group, use the new pinctrl group "mmc1_pins_default_no_clk_pu" in dra7-mmc-iodelay.dtsi added specifically to be used for CLK line without external pull up. 2018-02-28ARM: dts: am57xx-idk: Select pull down for mmc1_clk line in default modeKishon Vijay Abraham I
During a short period when the bus voltage is switched from 3.3v to 1.8v, (to enumerate UHS mode), the mmc module is disabled and the mmc IO lines are kept in a state according to the programmed pad mux pull type. According to 4.2.4.2 Timing to Switch Signal Voltage in "SD Specifications Part 1 Physical Layer Specification Version 5.00 February 22, 2016", the host should hold CLK low for at least 5ms. In order to keep the card line low during voltage switch, the pad mux of mmc1_clk line should be configured to pull down. This is specific to am57xx-idk (and not all dra72/dra74 based boards) since mmc1_clk line in am57xx-idk is not connected to an external pullup. While at that change the order of header files in am571x-idk.dts and am572x-idk.dts so that the modified pinctrl values in am57xx-idk-common could take effect.
