2014-03-16iwlwifi: mvm: configure seq_num to D0i3Eliad Peller
Configure the QoS counters when entering D0i3. The fw might use them later when performing protocol offloading (we'll update the the counters back on d0i3 exit in a following patch). Non-QoS counter is handled internally in the fw, so no need to configure it. Also, add support for a new version of WOWLAN_CONFIG_CMD Signed-off-by: Eliad Peller <eliad@wizery.com> Reviewed-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>

2014-02-23iwlwifi: mvm: prepare infrastructure for more TLV flagsEran Harary
We use the TLV flags as a handshake between the firmware and the driver. These flags allow the firmware to advertise its capabilities and API version. Since we are running short of bits, we add a new infrastructure which is more scalable, yet backward compatible. We make now the difference between API changes and the capabilities. Both can have an index which allows to scale at will. Signed-off-by: Eran Harary <eran.harary@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Emmanuel Grumbach <emmanuel.grumbach@intel.com>
2014-02-13iwlwifi: remove iwl_fw_valid_(tx|rx)_ant inlinesJohannes Berg

2014-02-13iwlwifi: mvm: Enable power save on BSS and P2P client in DCMAlexander Bondar
New FW enables support for power save on BSS and P2P client MACs simultaneously when they function on different channels (DCM). Enable this case in the driver after examining new TLV flag - IWL_UCODE_TLV_FLAGS_BSS_P2P_PS_DCM. Still power management is not allowed on both MACs if they function on a same channel. Remove another redundant TLV flag - IWL_UCODE_TLV_FLAGS_P2P_PS that is not in use anymore. Remove bound_vif_cnt as redundant. 2014-02-03iwlwifi: mvm: support multiple firmware sectionsEran Harary
Newer devices have two embedded CPUs, and the firwmare for both of them is include in the .ucode file requested upon enumeration. An empty section with address=0xFFFFCCCC separates between the sections intended for cpu1 and the sections intended for cpu2. Update the driver to parse the .ucode file with this format and act accordingly. 2014-02-03iwlwifi: mvm: add basic bcast filtering implementationEliad Peller
Broadcast filtering allows dropping broadcast frames that don't match the configured patterns. Use predefined filters, and configure them for each associated station vif. There is no need to optimize and attach the same filter to multiple vifs, as a following patch will configure each filter to have per-vif unique values. Configure the bcast filtering on assoc changes. Add a new IWLWIFI_BCAST_FILTERING Kconfig option in order to enable broadcast filtering. 2014-02-03iwlwifi: mvm: implement AP/GO uAPSD supportJohannes Berg
Newer firmware will support uAPSD clients in AP/GO mode, so complete the driver support for it. The way it works is described in comments in the code, but basically the driver just has to pass down all the mac80211 requests and do accounting on agg/non-agg queues properly. For older firmware, this doesn't change anything as it ignores the fields used by the new firmware, and we only advertise uAPSD support when the firmware does. 2013-12-17iwlwifi: mvm: Add and examine TLV flag for P2P client uAPSD supportAlexander Bondar
Current firmware doesn't handle well uAPSD in P2P Client. When it will be fixed, the firmware will set a TLV flag to notify the driver that uAPSD is supported in P2P client mode. This patch adds a cipher scheme support to extend a set of the supported ciphers. The driver reads a cipher scheme list TLV from FW image and passes it to mac80211 on hw registration. Until now, after WoWLAN, we weren't able to keep the connection to the AP because the firmware didn't give us the right information. 2013-10-11iwlwifi: mvm: Add device wide power commandAlexander Bondar

It can configure the following: CAM (Continuous Active Mode) and POWER_SAVE_ENABLE debug option. Send this command when firmware is loaded - D0 and D3. 2013-10-02iwlwifi: mvm: new BT Coex APIEmmanuel Grumbach
This is the new API for BT Coex. The full functionality will be implemented in further patches. Note: this disables BT Coex for the currently existing fw (-7 version). There is also a new command - the channel inhibition command. This command tells BT what channels to avoid in order to minimise the interaction between BT and WiFi. We can tell BT about 2 channels, primary and secondary. BT will not tune to primary at all and will avoid secondary as much as possible. This also means that we need to track vifs that AP / GO. So rename iwl_mvm_bt_coex_vif_assoc to iwl_mvm_bt_coex_vif_change to better reflect its real meaning. 2012-09-10iwlwifi: load firmware in chunksJohannes Berg
Instead of allocating one big chunk of DMA-coherent memory for the firmware and keeping it around, only vmalloc() the firmware and copy it into a single page of DMA-coherent memory for the upload. The advantage is that we don't need DMA memory for the firmware image that is stored while the driver is operating, we only need it while uploading. 2012-03-07iwlwifi: split out firmware storeJohannes Berg
Through the driver, struct iwl_fw will store the firmware. Split this out into a separate file, iwl-fw.h, and make all other code use it. To do this, also move the log pointers into it, and remove the knowledge of "nic" from everything. Now the op_mode has a fw pointer, and (unfortunately) for now the shared data also needs to keep one for the transport to access dump the error log -- I think that will move later.
