2015-11-03drm/sti: set mixer background color through module paramVincent Abriou
Add bkgcolor module parameter that allow to change the background color of the mixer. It can be set with an RGB value coded as 0xRRGGBB. The default value is black. Signed-off-by: Vincent Abriou <vincent.abriou@st.com> Signed-off-by: Nicolas VANHAELEWYN <nicolas.vanhaelewyn@st.com>
2015-11-03drm/sti: Do not export symbolsThierry Reding
None of these exported symbols are used outside of the drm-sti driver, so there is no reason to export them. 2015-08-03drm/sti: atomic crtc/plane updateVincent Abriou
Better fit STI hardware structure. Planes are no more responsible of updating mixer information such as z-order and status. It is now up to the CRTC atomic flush to do it. Plane actions (enable or disable) are performed atomically. Disabling of a plane is synchronize with the vsync event. 2015-08-03drm/sti: code clean upVincent Abriou
Purpose is to simplify the STI driver: - remove layer structure - consider video subdev as part of the compositor (like mixer subdev) - remove useless STI_VID0 and STI_VID1 enum Signed-off-by: Vincent Abriou <vincent.abriou@st.com> Reviewed-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org>
2015-08-03drm/sti: fix dynamic z-orderingVincent Abriou
Apply the plane depth when the plane is updated. If the depth is different from the previous plane update, the register controlling the plane depth is cleaned and updated with the new depth. 2014-12-11drm: sti: add HQVDP planeBenjamin Gaignard
High Quality Video Data Plane is hardware IP dedicated to video rendering. Compare to GPD (graphic planes) it have better scaler capabilities. HQVDP use VID layer to push data into hardware compositor without going into DDR. From data flow point of view HQVDP and VID are nested so HQVPD update/disable VID. 2014-12-11drm: sti: add cursor planeBenjamin Gaignard
stih407 SoC have a dedicated hardware cursor plane, this patch enable it. The hardware have a color look up table, fix it to be able to use ARGB8888. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org>
2014-12-11drm: sti: clear all mixer controlBenjamin Gaignard
Make sure that mixer control register is correctly reset before use it. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org>
2014-07-30drm: sti: add CompositorBenjamin Gaignard
Compositor control all the input sub-device (VID, GDP) and the mixer(s). It is the main entry point for composition. Layer interface is used to control the abstracted layers. Add debug in mixer and GDP. Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Rob Clark <robdclark@gmail.com>
2014-07-30drm: sti: add MixerBenjamin Gaignard
Mixer hardware IP is responsible of mixing the different inputs layers. Z-order is managed by the mixer. We could 2 mixers: one for main path and one for auxillary path Mixers are part of Compositor hardware block Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org> Reviewed-by: Rob Clark <robdclark@gmail.com>
