2012-07-09ARM: OMAP5: Add minimal support for OMAP5430 SOCR Sricharan
OMAP5430 is Texas Instrument's SOC based on ARM Cortex-A15 SMP architecture. It's a dual core SOC with GIC used for interrupt handling and with an integrated L2 cache controller. OMAP5432 is another variant of OMAP5430, with a memory controller supporting DDR3 and SATA. Patch includes: - The machine specific headers and sources updates. - Platform header updates. - Minimum initialisation support for serial. - IO table init Signed-off-by: R Sricharan <r.sricharan@ti.com> Signed-off-by: Santosh Shilimkar <santosh.shilimkar@ti.com>
2012-03-13ARM: create a common IOMEM definitionRob Herring
Several platforms create IOMEM defines for casting to 'void __iomem *', and other platforms are incorrectly using __io() macro for the same purpose. This creates a common definition and removes all the platform specific versions. Rather than try to make linux/io.h and asm/io.h assembly safe, the assembly version of IOMEM is moved into asm/assembler.h. 2012-02-24ARM: OMAP: Remove plat/io.h by splitting it into mach/io.h and mach/hardware.hTony Lindgren
This is needed to minimize io.h so the SoC specific io.h for ARMs can removed. Note that minimal driver changes for DSS and RNG are needed to include cpu.h for SoC detection macros. 2011-12-13ARM: OMAP: TI81XX: Prepare for addition of TI814X supportHemant Pedanekar
This patch updates existing macros, functions used for TI816X, to enable addition of other SoCs belonging to TI81XX family (e.g., TI814X). The approach taken is to use TI81XX/ti81xx for code/data going to be common across all TI81XX devices. cpu_is_ti81xx() is introduced to handle code common across TI81XX devices. In addition, ti8168_evm_map_io() is now replaced with ti81xx_map_io() and moved in mach-omap2/common.c as same will be used for TI814X and is not board specific.
