2023-06-21ARM: dts: Move .dts files to vendor sub-directoriesRob Herring
The arm dts directory has grown to 1559 boards which makes it a bit unwieldy to maintain and use. Past attempts stalled out due to plans to move .dts files out of the kernel tree. Doing that is no longer planned (any time soon at least), so let's go ahead and group .dts files by vendors. This move aligns arm with arm64 .dts file structure. There's no change to dtbs_install as the flat structure is maintained on install. The naming of vendor directories is roughly in this order of preference: - Matching original and current SoC vendor prefix/name (e.g. ti, qcom) - Current vendor prefix/name if still actively sold (SoCs which have been aquired) (e.g. nxp/imx) - Existing platform name for older platforms not sold/maintained by any company (e.g. gemini, nspire) The whole move was scripted with the exception of MAINTAINERS and a few makefile fixups. 2023-01-25ARM: dts: gemini: Enable DNS313 FOTG210 as periphLinus Walleij
Add the GPIO-based VBUS phy, and enable the FOTG210 USB1 block for use as peripheral. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20230123073916.2350839-2-linus.walleij@linaro.org
2023-01-25ARM: dts: gemini: Push down flash address/size cellsLinus Walleij
The platforms not defining any OF partions complain like this: ../arch/arm/boot/dts/gemini.dtsi:19.25-28.5: Warning (avoid_unnecessary_addr_size): /soc/flash@30000000: unnecessary #address-cells/#size-cells without "ranges" or child "reg" property Get rid of this by only defining the address-cells and size-cells where it is actually used by OF partitions. 2021-05-22ARM: dts: gemini-dlink-dns-313: rename gpio-i2c to i2cCorentin Labbe
This fixes dtcheck warning: arch/arm/boot/dts/gemini-dlink-dns-313.dt.yaml: gpio-i2c: $nodename:0: 'gpio-i2c' does not match '^i2c(@.*)?' Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2021-05-10ARM: dts: gemini: rename mdio to the right nameCorentin Labbe
ethernet-phy is not the right name for mdio, fix it. Signed-off-by: Corentin Labbe <clabbe@baylibre.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2020-03-20ARM: dts: gemini: Rename IDE nodesLinus Walleij
By renaming the ATA drive nodes to "ide@" we activate the semantic checks to the DT schema for the controller and use the correct notation for PATA drives. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2019-06-19ARM: dts: gemini Fix up DNS-313 compatible stringLinus Walleij
It's a simple typo in the DNS file, which was pretty serious. No scripts were working properly. Fix it up. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2018-12-08ARM: dts: Bump Gemini platforms to use 100ms debounceLinus Walleij
The 50ms debounce is too low and give ghost bounces on some platforms. Bump it to 100ms to make it stable. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2018-05-12ARM: dts: Fix DTC warningsLinus Walleij
The DTC was warning a lot about unit names etc, I think I fixed them all. Stopping to include skeleton.dtsi fixes the last one. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2018-05-12ARM: dts: Fix bootargs for Gemini D-Link devicesLinus Walleij
These machines need to be booted from very specific harddisk partitions (as the D-Link DNS-313 boots specifically from partition 4). Add the proper bootargs so that everything works smoothly. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2018-05-12ARM: dts: Fix the DNS-313 flash compatibleLinus Walleij
The flash on the DNS-313 needs to be probed as JEDEC, it does not conform to the common CFI standard. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2018-05-12ARM: dtd: Set DNS-313 LEDs to use better triggersLinus Walleij
We just used one LED for "disk activity" but using the green LED for disk read and the red LED for disk write gives a way better user experience. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

2018-03-27ARM: dts: gemini: Remove "cooling-{min|max}-level" for gpio-fan nodeViresh Kumar
The "cooling-min-level" and "cooling-max-level" properties are not parsed by any part of the kernel currently and the max cooling state of gpio-fan cooling device is found by referring to the "gpio-fan,speed-map" instead. Remove the unused properties from the gpio-fan node. 2018-02-26ARM: dts: Set D-Link DNS-313 SATA to muxmode 0Linus Walleij
This stops the driver from trying to probe the ATA slave interface. The vendor code enables the slave interface but the driver in the vendor tree does not make use of it. Setting it to muxmode 0 disables the slave interface: the hardware only has the master interface connected to the one harddrive slot anyways. Without this change booting takes excessive time, so it is very annoying to end users. Fixes: dd5c0561db75 ("ARM: dts: Add basic devicetree for D-Link DNS-313") Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
2018-01-17ARM: dts: Add ethernet to a bunch of platformsLinus Walleij
These platforms have the PHY defined already so we just need to add a single device node to each of them to activate the ethernet device. The PHY skew/delay settings for pin control is known from a few vendor trees and old OpenWRT patch sets. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
2017-12-16ARM: dts: Add basic devicetree for D-Link DNS-313Linus Walleij
This adds a basic device tree for the D-Link DNS-313 NAS enclosure. This device has a thermal sensor and a fan so we add a thermal zone for the chassis in the device tree based on information from the product.
