From e87760ff52a546e0a49a7ccfc2a0b12cb0111e70 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Eryk Brol Date: Fri, 7 Dec 2018 10:25:13 -0500 Subject: [PATCH 1136/2940] drm/amd/display: Introduce DC VM interface Virtual memory allows display to support flipping to surfaces which are not allocated contiguously in memory with physical addresses, instead a 1-4 level page table is used. This is beneficial because it allows the scattering of large surfaces to improve memory efficiency and security.
