When building package fmlib based on Yocto version mickledore, there is below warning reported: WARNING: fmlib-git-r1 do_package_qa: QA Issue: File /usr/lib64/libfm-arm.a in package fmlib-staticdev contains reference to TMPDIR [buildpaths] Because the KERNEL_SRC is passed into Makefile, and not mapped to a target path like the source of this package. When building fmlib package based on Yocto 4.0, there is below warning reported WARNING: fmlib-git-r1 do_populate_lic: QA Issue: fmlib: No generic license file exists for: BSD in any provider [license-exists] Because "BSD" is ambiguous, and there is no corresponding license file in COMMON_LICENSE_DIR directory. 2022-03-03layer: Update LICENSE variable to use SPDX license identifiersAndrey Zhizhikin
Since OE-Core commit 9379f80f48 ("license/insane: Show warning for obsolete license usage"), LICENSE field not containing SPDX identifiers are treated with WARNING. An automated conversion using scripts/contrib/convert-spdx-licenses.py to convert to use the standard SPDX license identifiers has been done on the entire layer.
