The recipe content does not vary from one board to another so there is no reason to use SoC arch or machine arch as package architecture. The recipe generates multiple binary packages which makes it easy for users to choose what to install. 2017-03-09change-file-endianess: Rework recipe completelyOtavio Salvador
The recipe was mixing different concepts. It is intended to provide a TCL script to change the endianess of files and the recipe was conceptually wrong. The use of the deploy class is wrong as it is not an artifact that is going to be used to install a board but a tool required for development (so the need of native and nativesdk variants). 2017-02-08change-file-endianess: update do_deploy_class-native so it finds byte_swap.tclBob Cochran
Modify do_deply_class-native task to copy byte_swap.tcl from top of working directory ${S} rather than ${STAGING_BINDIR_NATIVE} since file isn’t found at current location and this causes a “No such file or directory” error.
