2013-07-16staging: csr: remove driverGreg Kroah-Hartman
This driver is not being updated as the specifications are not able to be gotten from CSR or anyone else. Without those, getting this driver into proper mergable shape is going to be impossible. So remove the driver from the tree. If the specifications ever become available, this patch can be reverted and the driver fixed up properly. In the kernel, we use C. Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

It's no longer needed. Cc: Mikko Virkkilä <mikko.virkkila@bluegiga.com> Cc: Lauri Hintsala <Lauri.Hintsala@bluegiga.com> Cc: Riku Mettälä <riku.mettala@bluegiga.com> Cc: Veli-Pekka Peltola <veli-pekka.peltola@bluegiga.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
2012-07-20staging: csr: remove CsrPmemAllocGreg Kroah-Hartman
It's just a wrapper around kmalloc(, GFP_KERNEL) + a call to panic() if we are out of memory, which is a very foolish thing to do (the panic that is.) So replace it with calls to kmalloc() and ignore the out-of-memory casese for now, odds are it will not be hit, and if it does, hey, we will end up panicing just the same as with the old code. Now that the header file has nothing in it, remove it from the tree, and adjust the places that were including it. It was just a wrapper around memcpy() so call that instead. Only thing left in here is the TRUE/FALSE #defines, so move them to csr_macro.h and remove the file. 2012-06-19Staging: csr: update to version 5.1.0 of the driverGreg Kroah-Hartman
This brings the in-kernel driver up to the level of the csr-linux-wifi-5.1.0-oss.tar.gz tarball. 2012-06-19Staging: add CSR wifi moduleGreg Kroah-Hartman
This consists of two modules, the driver, and a "helper" module that is just a wrapper around common kernel functions. The wrapper module will be removed soon, but for now it's needed. These files were based on the csr-linux-wifi-5.0.3-oss.tar.gz package provided by CSR and Blue Giga, and is covered under the license specified in the LICENSE.txt file (basically dual BSD and GPLv2). The files were flattened out of the deep directory mess they were originally in, and a few EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL() were added in order for everything to link properly with the helper module setup.
