2020-04-01net: hns3: fix "tc qdisc del" failed issueYonglong Liu
[ Upstream commit 5eb01ddfcfb25e6ebc404a41deae946bde776731 ] The HNS3 driver supports to configure TC numbers and TC to priority map via "tc" tool. But when delete the rule, will fail, because the HNS3 driver needs at least one TC, but the "tc" tool sets TC number to zero when delete. This patch makes sure that the TC number is at least one. 2020-03-18net: hns3: fix a not link up issue when fibre port supports autonegJian Shen
[ Upstream commit 68e1006f618e509fc7869259fe83ceec4a95dac3 ] When fibre port supports auto-negotiation, the IMP(Intelligent Management Process) processes the speed of auto-negotiation and the user's speed separately. For below case, the port will get a not link up problem. step 1: disables auto-negotiation and sets speed to A, then the driver's MAC speed will be updated to A. step 2: enables auto-negotiation and MAC gets negotiated speed B, then the driver's MAC speed will be updated to B through querying in periodical task. step 3: MAC gets new negotiated speed A. step 4: disables auto-negotiation and sets speed to B before periodical task query new MAC speed A, the driver will ignore the speed configuration. This patch fixes it by skipping speed and duplex checking when fibre port supports auto-negotiation. 2020-03-05net: hns3: fix a copying IPv6 address error in hclge_fd_get_flow_tuples()Guangbin Huang
[ Upstream commit 47327c9315b2f3ae4ab659457977a26669631f20 ] The IPv6 address defined in struct in6_addr is specified as big endian, but there is no specified endian in struct hclge_fd_rule_tuples, so it will cause a problem if directly use memcpy() to copy ipv6 address between these two structures since this field in struct hclge_fd_rule_tuples is little endian. This patch fixes this problem by using be32_to_cpu() to convert endian of IPv6 address of struct in6_addr before copying. 2020-01-23net: hns: fix soft lockup when there is not enough memoryYonglong Liu
[ Upstream commit 49edd6a2c456150870ddcef5b7ed11b21d849e13 ] When there is not enough memory and napi_alloc_skb() return NULL, the HNS driver will print error message, and than try again, if the memory is not enough for a while, huge error message and the retry operation will cause soft lockup. When napi_alloc_skb() return NULL because of no memory, we can get a warn_alloc() call trace, so this patch deletes the error message. We already use polling mode to handle irq, but the retry operation will render the polling weight inactive, this patch just return budget when the rx is not completed to avoid dead loop. [ Upstream commit 647522a5ef6401dcdb8ec417421e43fb21910167 ] When there is a TX timeout, we can tell if the driver or stack has stopped the queue by looking at state field, and when has the last packet transmited by looking at trans_start field. 2019-11-19net: hns3: fix a wrong reset interrupt status maskHuazhong Tan

2019-11-14net: hns3: add compatible handling for MAC VLAN switch parameter configurationGuangbin Huang
Previously, hns3 driver just directly send specific setting bit and mask bits of MAC VLAN switch parameter to the firmware, it can not be compatible with the old firmware, because the old one ignores mask bits and covers all bits with new setting bits. So when running with old firmware, the communication between PF and VF will fail after resetting or configuring spoof check, since they will do the MAC VLAN switch parameter configuration. This patch fixes this problem by reading switch parameter firstly, then just modifies the corresponding bit and sends it to firmware. 2019-11-07net: hns: Fix the stray netpoll locks causing deadlock in NAPI pathSalil Mehta
This patch fixes the problem of the spin locks, originally meant for the netpoll path of hns driver, causing deadlock in the normal NAPI poll path. The issue happened due to the presence of the stray leftover spin lock code related to the netpoll, whose support was earlier removed from the HNS[1], got activated due to enabling of NET_POLL_CONTROLLER switch. Earlier background: The netpoll handling code originally had this bug(as identified by Marc Zyngier[2]) of wrong spin lock API being used which did not disable the interrupts and hence could cause locking issues. i.e. if the lock were first acquired in context to thread like 'ip' util and this lock if ever got later acquired again in context to the interrupt context like TX/RX (Interrupts could always pre-empt the lock holding task and acquire the lock again) and hence could cause deadlock. Proposed Solution: 1. If the netpoll was enabled in the HNS driver, which is not right now, we could have simply used spin_[un]lock_irqsave() 2. But as netpoll is disabled, therefore, it is best to get rid of the existing locks and stray code for now. This should solve the problem reported by Marc. 2019-09-11net: hns3: fix shaper parameter algorithmYonglong Liu
Currently when hns3 driver configures the tm shaper to limit bandwidth below 20Mbit using the parameters calculated by hclge_shaper_para_calc(), the actual bandwidth limited by tm hardware module is not accurate enough, for example, 1.28 Mbit when the user is configuring 1 Mbit. This patch adjusts the ir_calc to be closer to ir, and always calculate the ir_b parameter when user is configuring a small bandwidth. 2019-08-29net: hns3: not allow SSU loopback while execute ethtool -t devYufeng Mo
The current loopback mode is to add 0x1F to the SMAC address as the DMAC address and enable the promiscuous mode. However, if the VF address is the same as the DMAC address, the loopback test fails. Loopback can be enabled in three places: SSU, MAC, and serdes. By default, SSU loopback is enabled, so if the SMAC and the DMAC are the same, the packets are looped back in the SSU. If SSU loopback is disabled, packets can reach MAC even if SMAC is the same as DMAC. Therefore, this patch disables the SSU loopback before the loopback test. In this way, the SMAC and DMAC can be the same, and the promiscuous mode does not need to be enabled. And this is not valid in version 0x20. This patch also uses a macro to replace 0x1F.
