2019-06-05treewide: Replace GPLv2 boilerplate/reference with SPDX - rule 282Thomas Gleixner
Based on 1 normalized pattern(s): this software is licensed under the terms of the gnu general public license version 2 as published by the free software foundation and may be copied distributed and modified under those terms this program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful but without any warranty without even the implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose see the gnu general public license for more details extracted by the scancode license scanner the SPDX license identifier GPL-2.0-only has been chosen to replace the boilerplate/reference in 285 file(s). 2018-05-18gpu: host1x: Cleanup loop variable usageThierry Reding
Use unsigned int where possible and don't unnecessarily initialize the loop variable. Reviewed-by: Dmitry Osipenko <digetx@gmail.com> Tested-by: Dmitry Osipenko <digetx@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2017-10-20gpu: host1x: Improve debug disassembly formattingMikko Perttunen
The host1x driver prints out "disassembly" dumps of the command FIFO and gather contents on submission timeouts. However, the output has been quite difficult to read with unnecessary newlines and occasional missing parentheses. Fix these problems by using pr_cont to remove unnecessary newlines and by fixing other small issues. 2017-06-15gpu: host1x: Refactor channel allocation codeMikko Perttunen
This is largely a rewrite of the Host1x channel allocation code, bringing several changes: - The previous code could deadlock due to an interaction between the 'reflock' mutex and CDMA timeout handling. This gets rid of the mutex. - Support for more than 32 channels, required for Tegra186 - General refactoring, including better encapsulation of channel ownership handling into channel.c Signed-off-by: Mikko Perttunen <mperttunen@nvidia.com> Reviewed-by: Dmitry Osipenko <digetx@gmail.com> Tested-by: Dmitry Osipenko <digetx@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2016-06-23gpu: host1x: Whitespace cleanup for readabilityThierry Reding
Insert a number of blank lines in places where they increase readability of the code. Also collapse various variable declarations to shorten some functions and finally rewrite some code for readability. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2016-06-23gpu: host1x: Fix a couple of checkpatch warningsThierry Reding
Fix a couple of occurrences where no blank line was used to separate variable declarations from code or where block comments were wrongly formatted. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2016-06-23gpu: host1x: Consistently use unsigned int for countsThierry Reding
The number of channels, syncpoints, bases and mlocks can never be negative, so use unsigned int instead of int. Also make loop variables the same type for consistency. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2013-12-19gpu: host1x: Fix build warningsThierry Reding
When debugfs support isn't enabled, gcc complains about some variables being unused. To avoid further #ifdefery, move debugfs specific setup code into static functions and use IS_ENABLED(CONFIG_DEBUG_FS) to have the compiler, rather than the preprocessor, discard them when unused. The advantage of doing it this way is that all the code will be compile-tested whether or not debugfs support is enabled. Signed-off-by: Thierry Reding <treding@nvidia.com>
2013-04-22gpu: host1x: Add debug supportTerje Bergstrom
Add support for host1x debugging. Adds debugfs entries, and dumps channel state to UART in case of stuck job.
