2017-06-16drm/nouveau/disp: shuffle functions aroundBen Skeggs
Upcoming changes to split OR from output path drastically change the placement of various operations. In order to make the real changes clearer, do the moving around part ahead of time. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2017-06-16drm/nouveau/disp/gk104-: Use supplied HDMI InfoFramesAlastair Bridgewater
Now that we have the InfoFrame data being provided, for the most part, program the hardware to use it. While we're here, and since the functionality will come in handy for supporting 3D stereoscopy, implement setting the Vendor ("generic"?) InfoFrame. Also don't enable any InfoFrame that is not provided, and disable the Vendor InfoFrame when disabling the output. 2017-06-16drm/nouveau/disp/g84-: Extend NVKM HDMI power control method to set InfoFramesAlastair Bridgewater
The nouveau driver, in the Linux 3.7 days, used to try and set the AVI InfoFrame based on the selected display mode. These days, it uses a fixed set of InfoFrames. Start to correct that, by providing a mechanism whereby InfoFrame data may be passed to the NVKM functions that do the actual configuration. At this point, only establish the new parameters and their parsing, don't actually use the data anywhere yet (since it's not supplied anywhere). 2015-08-28drm/nouveau/disp: cosmetic changesBen Skeggs
This is purely preparation for upcoming commits, there should be no code changes here. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
2015-01-22drm/nouveau/disp: namespace + nvidia gpu names (no binary change)Ben Skeggs
The namespace of NVKM is being changed to nvkm_ instead of nouveau_, which will be used for the DRM part of the driver. This is being done in order to make it very clear as to what part of the driver a given symbol belongs to, and as a minor step towards splitting the DRM driver out to be able to stand on its own (for virt). Because there's already a large amount of churn here anyway, this is as good a time as any to also switch to NVIDIA's device and chipset naming to ease collaboration with them. A comparison of objdump disassemblies proves no code changes. Signed-off-by: Ben Skeggs <bskeggs@redhat.com>
