commit a8064d577dab1a81222a50c2de66a2de495f14f4 upstream.
The CMP PCH ID we have in the driver is correct for the CML-U machines we have
in our CI system, but the CML-S and CML-H CI machines appear to use a
different PCH ID, leading our driver to detect no PCH for them.

commit 10d987fd1b7baceaafa78d805e71427ab735b4e4 upstream.
Both Ice Lake and Elkhart Lake (gen 11) support MST on all external
connections except DDI A. Tiger Lake (gen 12) supports on all external
connections.
Move the check to happen inside intel_dp_mst_encoder_init() and add
specific platform checks.

commit f965b68188ab59a40a421ced1b05a2fea638465c upstream.
Init value of some display vregs rea inherited from host pregs. When
host display in different status, i.e. all monitors unpluged, different
display configurations, etc., GVT virtual display setup don't consistent
thus may lead to guest driver consider display goes malfunctional.
The added init vreg values are based on PRMs and fixed by calcuation
from current configuration (only PIPE_A) and the virtual EDID.

commit 72a7a9925e2beea09b109dffb3384c9bf920d9da upstream.
As i915 won't allocate extra PDP for current default PML4 table,
so for 3-level ppgtt guest, we would hit kernel pointer access
failure on extra PDP pointers. So this trys to bypass that now.
It won't impact real shadow PPGTT setup, so guest context still
works.
This is verified on 4.15 guest kernel with i915.enable_ppgtt=1
to force on old aliasing ppgtt behavior.

commit 04d6067f1f19e70a418f92fa3170cf7fe53b7fdf upstream.
From commit f25a49ab8ab9 ("drm/i915/gvt: Use vgpu_lock to protect per

commit 259170cb4c84f4165a36c0b05811eb74c495412c upstream.
Commit c3b5a8430daad ("drm/i915/gvt: Enable gfx virtualiztion for CFL")
added the support on CFL. The vgpu emulation hotplug support on CFL was
supposed to be included in that patch. Without the vgpu emulation
hotplug support, the dma-buf based display gives us a blur face.
So fix this issue by adding the vgpu emulation hotplug support on CFL.

commit 14a0d527a479eb2cb6067f9e5e163e1bf35db2a9 upstream.
Since the semaphore fence may be signaled from inside an interrupt
handler from inside a request holding its request->lock, we cannot then
enter into the engine->active.lock for processing the semaphore priority
bump as we may traverse our call tree and end up on another held
request.

commit bc8a76a152c5f9ef3b48104154a65a68a8b76946 upstream.
Intel ID: PSIRT-TA-201910-001
CVEID: CVE-2019-14615
Intel GPU Hardware prior to Gen11 does not clear EU state
during a context switch. This can result in information
leakage between contexts.
For Gen8 and Gen9, hardware provides a mechanism for
fast cleardown of the EU state, by issuing a PIPE_CONTROL
with bit 27 set. We can use this in a context batch buffer
to explicitly cleardown the state on every context switch.
As this workaround is already in place for gen8, we can borrow
the code verbatim for Gen9.

commit 0eb8e74f7202a4a98bbc0c1adeed3986cf50b66a upstream.
We're missing a workaround in the fbc code for all glk+ platforms

enabling fbc by default is a bad idea. I'm not keen to backport

We'll lift the restriction once the w/a is in place.

commit 2d691aeca4aecbb8d0414a777a46981a8e142b05 upstream.
set_page_dirty says:
For pages with a mapping this should be done under the page lock
for the benefit of asynchronous memory errors who prefer a
consistent dirty state. This rule can be broken in some special
cases, but should be better not to.
Under those rules, it is only safe for us to use the plain set_page_dirty
calls for shmemfs/anonymous memory. Userptr may be used with real
mappings and so needs to use the locked version (set_page_dirty_lock).
However, following a try_to_unmap() we may want to remove the userptr and
so call put_pages(). However, try_to_unmap() acquires the page lock and
so we must avoid recursively locking the pages ourselves -- which means
that we cannot safely acquire the lock around set_page_dirty(). Since we
can't be sure of the lock, we have to risk skip dirtying the page, or
else risk calling set_page_dirty() without a lock and so risk fs
corruption.

commit b925708f28c2b7a3a362d709bd7f77bc75c1daac upstream.
Since dropping the set-to-gtt-domain in commit a679f58d0510 ("drm/i915:
Flush pages on acquisition"), we no longer mark the contents as dirty on
a write fault. This has the issue of us then not marking the pages as
dirty on releasing the buffer, which means the contents are not written
out to the swap device (should we ever pick that buffer as a victim).
Notably, this is visible in the dumb buffer interface used for cursors.
Having updated the cursor contents via mmap, and swapped away, if the
shrinker should evict the old cursor, upon next reuse, the cursor would
be invisible.

commit 282b7fd5f5ab4eba499e1162c1e2802c6d0bb82e upstream.
This allows userspace to use "legacy" mode for push constants, where
they are committed at 3DPRIMITIVE or flush time, rather than being
committed at 3DSTATE_BINDING_TABLE_POINTERS_XS time. Gen6-8 and Gen11
both use the "legacy" behavior - only Gen9 works in the "new" way.
Conflating push constants with binding tables is painful for userspace,
we would like to be able to avoid doing so.

The lockdep_assert_irqs_disabled() check is needless. The previous
lockdep_assert_held() check ensures that the lock is acquired and that
time lockdep also prints a warning if the interrupts are not disabled if
they have to be.
These IRQ-off asserts trigger on PREEMPT_RT because the locks become
sleeping locks and do not really disable interrupts.
Remove lockdep_assert_irqs_disabled().

The function intel_engine_breadcrumbs_irq() is always invoked from an interrupt
handler and for that reason it invokes (as an optimisation) only spin_lock()
for locking assuming that the interrupts are already disabled. The
function intel_engine_signal_breadcrumbs() is provided to disable
interrupts while the former function is invoked so that assumption is
also true for callers from preemptible context.
On PREEMPT_RT local_irq_disable() really disables interrupts and this
forbids to acquire spin_lock() which becomes a sleeping spinlock.
This is also problematic with `threadirqs' in conjunction with
irq_work. With force threading the interrupt handler, the handler is
invoked with disabled BH but with interrupts enabled. This is okay and
the lock itself is never acquired in IRQ context. This changes with
irq_work (signal_irq_work()) which _still_ invokes
intel_engine_breadcrumbs_irq() from IRQ context. Lockdep should see this
and complain.
Acquire the locks in intel_engine_breadcrumbs_irq() with _irqsave()
suffix and let all callers invoke intel_engine_breadcrumbs_irq()
directly instead using intel_engine_signal_breadcrumbs().

This bit was fliped on for "syncing dependencies between camera and

unrecoverable GPU hangs with Vulkan compute workloads.
From BSpec, setting bit5 to 0 enables relaxed padding requirements for
